I examined secondary source materials covering academic research about the meaning of place and community, the related social concepts, and spatial factors. I rooted this newly gained understanding in a history walking with guiding questions to explain these concepts and factors. I analyzed my effectiveness in explaining all of these related aspects by administering a post-tour assessment of my tour to its participants.
