Transit-Oriented Middle Housing 

This project focuses on vacant land, parking lots, and residential garages that are within a half-mile buffer of the 17 bus route, one of the busiest transit routes in Cincinnati. In order to address the affordable housing crisis and the impacts of climate change being driven by our automobile-centric development, I am proposing middle housing typologies with minimal density restrictions and no off-street parking within walking distance of 17 bus stops. The solutions in this project can be extrapolated to other transit corridors in Cincinnati.
